Membership is more than building assets. The SPMCS Welfare & Solidarity Fund is designed to give eligible participating members structured support through Celebrations, bereavement, serious illness, emergencies and important life events.

Guideline support payable to the eligible member's verified registered next of kin.
Support guidelines for the loss of a spouse, child or parent, depending on the relationship.
Guideline support for verified serious illness, hospitalization, accidents and emergencies.
Guideline support for verified childbirth and wedding events.
Emergency assistance may be considered when a verified disaster affects an eligible member.
How ordinary eligibility begins
A new member ordinarily completes three months of welfare contributions, remains financially up to date and supplies reasonable evidence for a qualifying event. Exceptional emergency assistance may be considered where circumstances justify it.
Policy notice: Benefits are guidelines, not automatic entitlements. They depend on formal policy adoption, eligibility, supporting evidence, verification, approval and the Fund's available balance. Welfare contributions are pooled separately from savings and are ordinarily non-refundable.

SPMCS is the SWIFTIFY Port Harcourt Multipurpose Cooperative Society, created to help members pursue suitable asset acquisition, development and value-creation opportunities collectively.
Both verified SWIFTtrip Co-Founders and members of the public may apply through their respective membership categories, subject to approval and cooperative terms.
Your official welcome pack contains a Membership ID Card, Membership Certificate, Membership Welcome Letter, Member Handbook or Welcome Guide, and the Members Welfare Policy. The pack is delivered to the address supplied during registration.
No. The ₦20,000 SWIFTtrip Co-Founder registration fee or ₦200,000 public membership registration fee is paid once and is non-refundable. The separate ₦5,000 monthly Welfare Fund contribution and costs for any future cooperative opportunity are not part of the one-time membership registration fee.
A member receives 30% off the membership fee when recommending a non-Co-Founder who joins the cooperative. Recommending an existing SWIFTtrip Co-Founder attracts no membership-fee discount (0%).
No. Under the supplied policy, the ₦5,000 monthly welfare contribution is recorded separately as a pooled solidarity contribution. It is not an individual savings balance and is ordinarily non-refundable.
No. Registration provides cooperative membership access. Every opportunity has its own structure, risks, participation requirements and agreed terms, which members should review carefully.
